What is your process working with smaller projects?

Ideas are turned into designs. Custom laser engraving adds the special finish to many small projects. We strive for perfection and settle on the same.

What is the cost for projects?

Cost varies with each project. Wood species is a major factor in project cost. Hardwoods like black walnut look phenominal;  there is a higher cost for the hardwoods. Carve time and complexity affect the project cost. Each project is priced individually and we strive to make your idea affordable.

Solid hardwood Christmas ornaments are a holiday favorite for our customer base. The cost for laser or wood cut and engraved ornaments is in the $8-$12 range. The photo engraved ornaments cost a little more as the design and test cut time adds to production cost. Order your ornaments early as we do have a large demand for them around the holidays.

Who is behind Woodstock Crafts?

Woodstock Crafts is owned and operated by PWS Inc. which is owned by my wife and I, Mathew and Mary Johnson. I also have my little Supervisor helper from time to time.

Do you sell items in shops on consignment?

Yes, we do place our projects for sale in consignment in shops in the area. For more information email us or call us to discuss your needs. 

How long does it take to complete a project?

Large complex projects can take several months to craft. Medium size projects typically take about 4 weeks to complete. Smaller projects and ornaments can usually be completed in a few days to a week. Finishing the project can take a lot of time if urethane is used. Our finish of choice on small projects is hand rubbing with premium Danish oil.
